Boat shoes are shoes designed for yachting and sailing activities. Boat shoes have soft soles and heels to avoid marring or scratching a boat deck. Boat shoes are two to three eyelet oxfords, often with lacing woven around the heel with a moccasin-like look. Boat shoes are also commonly referred to as deck shoes.

I do not like the original Croc clogs, but like most other croc styles, this one is very comfortable, and very cute. Kind of like a boat shoe/sandal, it is a slight bit big, but not so much as to warrant a different size than regular croc size. In fact, the slight bit bigger makes it even more comfortable for hot summer weather.

I have big but narrow feet. I have found in recent years that the sizes keep getting smaller but my feet haven't changed. In these shoes a 10 felt "right" and they were narrow without pinching or being confining. Super comfortable and they will be my go-to casual slip on.

I like the shoe, however, it was a smidge wider than the Trotters 12N which fits me perfectly. The grasshopper is much better sized than previous years, though. As I recall, it used to run extremely large.
