Waterproof leather can be safely used in wet conditions. Leather is not a water resistant material, however when treated properly, waterproof leather is made to deflect water. Waterproof leather is commonly found on boots or shoes.

I was looking for a lightweight, WATERPROOF, comfortable shoe and came across these. I had already owned Clarks Wave.Run, which are fantastic, so I figured I'd like these too. They are honestly the most comfortable pair of sneaker/shoes I've ever owned. I love the look because they are a cross between a sneaker and a shoe and can be worn casually. They are also made well. My feet don't get tired standing, nor does my back hurt walking in these because they put you in a forward motion, almost rolling off the toes. No inserts or break-in time were needed for me - they were comfortable right out of the box. In fact, I loved them so much that I bought them in brown too! Can't say enough good things about them!!!
