Old Friend Loafer Moc
Not the same Old Friend
April 26, 2013
Reviewer: Jim from San Diego, CA
I have worn Old Friend for the past 10 years and considered them the best slippers on the market. They normally last two years of hard wear. I have never been disappointed until now. This is not the same quality of old. The slipper does not have the same deep lining as before. It used to be that you could hardly get your foot in at first because of the thick luxury of the fur, now it seems less full, less cushioning to the feet. Where the lining and the leather are glued together, the seam is uneven and shows ragged. The padding in the removable footbed is not as supporting as it used to be. The sides buckle a bit when I put in an arch support, something that never happened before.Having said all that, I would still rate this slipper as 4 stars. I wear my slippers outside around the house and the soles hold up well to the driveway and sidewalks (and sometimes for quick trips to the store). It is still a very good product compared to the rest and I will continue to replace my worn out slippers with Old Friend unless the quality continues to decline.

Old Friend Bootee
Quality control on inserts needed

Good news: Shoe fits well, even with high instep.Bad News: the slipper bottom insert is a foam pad with fake fur: The one sent was bent and folded by the toe, and hard to straighten out. Insert comes out every time I take the slipper off. Supposedly you can buy a new one when this one gets old. I would hope the new slipper had better quality control.

Lamo Open Toe Wrap
Good shoe Bad insoles
April 24, 2013
Reviewer: Charles from Orlando, FL
This was and is a good shoe BUT I didn't realize, when I got it, there is no way to change the inside sheep-skin when it becomes worn out. That means I need to buy a new shoe when the inside becomes worn down. My other ones had interchangeable insoles but the outside needed to be change thus my reason for ordering these. I Love the wrap a round slipper and the sheep-skin inside but no being able to change the insole is not so good. I am a diabetic so I need shoes on at all times thus I tend to wear them out rather rapidly. Thus I gave this shoe a 3 rating.

I bought these shoes because I'd purchased a pair from a clearance rack several years ago and just fell in love with them. They are comfortable, durable and warm; I just love them!!! And I purchased a pair for my mother for Christmas and she loves them too!!!
Wears this shoe: I wear them everyday as houseshoes.
