I love these black suede shoes. They are as beautiful on as they look on the page, and they are amazingly comfortable. I've worn them to work for hours, walked around New York in them, and they've been great. I've had only one issue with the shoes, but I like them so much I didn't want to return them. The metal stem on the buckle keeps slipping behind the bar that it should be resting against. This of course renders the buckle useless. Either the stem is too short, or it wiggles too much from left to right, sliding then behind the bar. I've resolved the issue by squeezing the buckle together closer together, but it only lasts a few hours, and then I have to adjust them again. I worry that eventually the buckle may crack from being bent too many times. I think these problems shouldn't happen at this price point. But I still love the shoes!

I have been searching for grey or charcoal ankle boot forever. Wish the color was a little darker. This boot fits like a glove..for the price, it should. Finally found a good quality shoe that contours to the foot. Rich looking. haven't worn it yet but I'm sure one's eye will be drawn to my feet. Dislike: Should be offered in other colors. RED would be Hot!!!

These boots looks very nice with trousers, comfortable to wear and heels are not too high for all day wear. However, even though it shows as lace up it doesn't really do anything but strictly for looks. You cannot tighten it for better comfort, so it flops around on the ankles. Too much space on the back of the heel, so order a half size down. With thick boot socks I can make it work.
