This is my second pair of the steel toes. Last purchase, i threw them on one morning and never looked back. This time, the shoes sort of rubbed a couple of blisters on my feet. Having to break them in gradually.In fact I'm wearing the old ones today.I'm sure they will break in soon.

I'm very pleased with this beautiful shoe. The very first time I put it on, I felt the comfortable, nice appearance and it's light weight and airy. I have a flat feet, however, I put an insole to support the arch for longer walk.

This shoe fits like a glove. entry and exit is very easy, especially for an oldie like me who can't bend down very easily anymore. But the ankle collar is very stiff, this hurts when I stand on an incline or steep bank...I am hoping this will soften a little as I wear-in the boots. The look is very nice, great support, I like the toe rubber as it saved my toes from getting crushed by a dropped rock. (I use my boots for low-stress hiking and mostly heavy duty gardening. The color is excellent and the value was definitely there. I would give this shoe a 5 if it weren't for the overly stiff ankle collar.
