Mephisto Shark
I like these sandals!
June 12, 2013
Reviewer: Uncle Markey from Denver, CO, USA
I've work the Mephisto Match for years, and owned a pair of hiking books. This was my first try with the sandals. I love 'em! What have I been thinking about all these years? Yes, they are pricey. Yes, you get what you pay for. And you know what? My feet are happy!

Orthofeet 525
Perfect for swollen feet after surgery
June 11, 2013
Reviewer: P. OBrien from Rockford, IL
I purchased this shoe because of the extremely wide opening so my spouse could get them on his swollen feet. As the swelling decreased, the velco straps allowed us to adjust the fit so the shoes can still be worn. My spouse said the shoes are believably comfortable; they are attractive, too. Would definitely recommend them!

Oasis Roland
Handsome shoe, beware sizing!
June 08, 2013
Reviewer: Dr. G from North central MA
I bought 3 pairs of this stylish sandal because it combines elegance (can wear with both a summer suit and shorts) and lightweight comfort. I also bought Hush Puppy (2 styles), Propet, Timberland, Bostonian, and Skechers sandals [and tried several other brands] so I have much to compare the impeccably smart Oasis Rolands to. In terms of classic good looks, the Rolands compare favorably to the expensive Bostonian {Golson) sandals. (The Golsons are more comfortable, but heavier.) The Rolands are featherweight, but still feel very sturdy. All my other choices seem more casual in appearance, and all but the Golsons (and Timberland Altamonts) less meticulously constructed than the Rolands. The sizing is tricky, though. Foremost, the Rolands are a size narrower than marked. I have always been a narrow, but will wear a medium in shoe models that do not come in narrow. I figured that the medium would be fine with the Rolands. Nope. This is the first shoe I've ever worn that says wide on the box, but is a standard medium in real life. And this even after removing the extra insert (a cute feature) which gave more height (necessary for my high arch), but little more width. At the same time, the sandal was on the long side for a 14. I usually wear a 15, but can get by with a rare 14. (Interestingly, only the exceptionally well-constructed Bostonion Golsons an Timberland Altamonts also worked in size 14.) The Rolands are 1/2 size longer than marked. Fine by me, but pay attention!

Propet Cush N Foot
Finally!
May 13, 2013
Reviewer: Theresa from Oh
I needed to get shoes for my father. His feet would get pretty wide due to health issues that cause swelling in his feet. I had previously bought and returned five pairs of shoes that he was unable to tolerate putting on. I took a chance and ordered these online. These are soft and flexible but have a nice sole that gives him traction. The Velcro closure allowed for the occasional swelling. These are perfect for him.
