i have had these shoes for 2 months and the heel support on both shoes have failed, it is like walking on concrete. i have a very sore back because of these shoes.

I work in a wet underground mine and wear these boots 8 to 10 hours a day. I walk an average of 3 to 5 miles a day and good boots are a must. These boots last longer than any other boot I've worn. They last 6 months and while that may not sound like much most other boots I've tried only last 2 to 3 months at best and I've tried many other brands. If you need a good long lasting pair of rubber steel toe boots you can't bet these LaCrosse Meta-Pac.

I bought these as "stable" boots, thinking they could handle a lot of punishment - I was right! Water repellent, great in the mud, and the steel toe ensures my toes will never be crushed by any ill-placed hooves (: These took some time to break in, and were much roomier than my other Docs of the same size, but you want extra room with the steel toe anyway. Great heavy duty boots.

Was looking for steel toe sneakers, having had regular Sketchers before I thought I would try these. They fit true to size and after having them for two weeks have no complaints and would buy them again.
