| | About Rain Boots: |
|---|
| | | Rain boots are boots suited to protect feet from inclement weather. Rain boots are waterproof and made from either rubber or other equivalents. Gore-tex, one of the latest materials used for rain boots, is completely waterproof. Rain boots are usually knee-high, but are also available low cut, just above the ankle, or high cut, all the way up to the thigh. Rain boots can also be used for snow, mud, and chemical waste because they provide protection, dryness, and warmth. Many rain boots are made with inner liners of flannel or other warm materials for use in cold weather. |

Tingley Workbrutes PVC 10" Boot
Wish it came in a smaller size

I was looking for something to use as rainboots that would be space efficient but sturdy enough to wear while cleaning up after bad storms. I wear between a 7 and 8 in women's, so I knew there was a good chance the small would be too big but I decided to try anyway. Even with tennis shoes on, I could tell my feet had too much room inside the shoe and I wouldn't be able to really move in them. I'm giving it 4 stars for design, because the material seems very sturdy, but I wish they had either a smaller size or a women's equivalent.

Tingley 3800 Executive
Overshoes

I have always used the Totes, zippered overshoe, but they are no longer available. This is the replacement and while the rubber is substantial, it is a very "sticky" rubber, making it very difficult to slide on and off my shoes. It is simply not the same quality as Totes used to make.

This show is exactly what I was looking for. It is comfortable and I like the removable fleece insoles. In fact,I have them on today because we are expecting a lot of rain and wet snow on the east coast.

Bogs Tillamook Bay
These are THE BEST !!

I have struggled and struggled with a variety of big, bulky winter boots that have LONG laces ( that get knotted and tangled ) and the boots are really tough to get on and off . To compound the problem, I wear a large shoe and the boots get really big and cumbersome to move in. The Bogs that I bought are THE BEST !!!! Really, really easy to slip on and off because the top is all rubber and stretches EASILY, even over heavy socks. I thought the downside might be that, because they didn't have a lining, my feet would get cold. Not so at ALL!! I live in Oswego, NY, and we have cold and lots of snow. I'm not one to fill out a survey like this - but these boots are really, really great.

Bogs Classic High
My dogs love my Bogs!

These were my second pair of Bogs. The first have lasted over five years, but I wanted a second pair to keep in my weekend cabin. They're super comfy, absolutely water- and muck-proof, and the perfect warmth. I wear them in the winter with wool socks, in the heat of summer with cotton (to walk the dog when it's rainy). The neoprene upper lets then breathe more than Wellies.
