This is second pair of the Suffolk that I have purchased this one in black. Shortly after receiving the shoes we had a significant snow. While clearing the snow off my car I had to stand in snow above the shoe. Not only did the shoe keep my feet dry but they also showed no sign of dampness let alone a water-line. They are also a very comfortable shoe.

I like the way Rockport shoes fit. I am almost always disappointed because they usually do not have a nice shiny finish. In the past several years, I have had only one pair that was outstanding.

A true work boot should last at least one year. These did not even last 5 months before the leather started separating from the soles and the soles started splitting in several places. If you are looking for style, these are nice but they are NOT true work boots.
