I bought these as "stable" boots, thinking they could handle a lot of punishment - I was right! Water repellent, great in the mud, and the steel toe ensures my toes will never be crushed by any ill-placed hooves (: These took some time to break in, and were much roomier than my other Docs of the same size, but you want extra room with the steel toe anyway. Great heavy duty boots.

I bought these shoes for my husband who does IT work in construction sites. He is hard to fit (12 W) and usually has to break shoes in for a bit before they feel comfortable. These shoes were perfect and he was able to wear them straight out of the box! They look nice and are of really good quality. A win-win situation!

I have always worn Danner workman boots, NOT ANY MORE.These boots are so much better than any Danner boot I have ever owned, from the fit to the comfort, the only thing left to see is the longevity of the Carolina boot and if they last 6 months they have beat Danner. I work construction and these boots are subject to heavy use daily.
