Hunting boots are boots specifically made for the sport of hunting. Similar to hiking boots, performance features for extra support and water resistant or waterproof materials are common. Hunting boots will likely feature camouflage patterns for blending into the hunter's surroundings.

This is a classic work~hunting boot, one that I wore years ago(I mean 35 or so). Tried others during the years following but went back to this brand and style. It is truly the best one for me. Love the feel, fit, warmth and comfort.

LaCrosse Coil Scent HD 18" DO NOT BUY

If you need water proof boots, DO NOT BUY these boots. I have had to send back 3 pairs of these because the are not waterproof. Water comes through the boots with ease. Besides the leaking issues they are comfortable boots and are easy to break in. I will be trying a different brand.

Danner Pronghorn GTX 8" 800G Great boots

The boots are very nice. I am very picky about my feet so I have tried on lots of boots. These are very comfortable, and light weight. 800 grams is perfect for all year round use. Only drawback I've seen is the eyelets at the top are starting to fray the laces. Not a big deal. Seem to be very waterproof so far. I highly reccomend these boots. If 800 grams is not enough or too much, just get a different insulation size, the fit is still the same.
