I enjoy these shoes in black. They are not marvelously comfortable, but for an evening out they work just fine. In cork, nothing about them worked. There was too much rubbing in all the wrong places. I think they might even be just a little longer than in black. I took them off within 2 minutes of wearing them around the room.

I was very disappointed when I pulled the shoes out of the box. I bought the taupe and they had scuff marks, black marks, visible glue and a jagged edge sticking out of the wood bottom piece. I took about 20 steps in them and the side of my foot started hurting because they are so narrow. In a leather shoe that wouldn't be an issue as you can expect them to stretch, but I don't think these are leather. The interior of the shoe only says made of quality man-made material. It does not mention leather like a real leather shoe would. I expect real leather and shoes free of imperfections.

I bought these shoes to go with a new dress that I bought! The look amazing! I normally wear a 6.5 so I ordered a 6.5. I think that the shoes are a bit narrow, but that isn't going to stop me from wearing them. I'm thinking that they are bound to break in a bit with some wear. If you have wide feet though, I would pass on these.
